Silver screen glamour is a big bridal trend for 2009

Many of the top wedding dress designers are predicting that silver screen glamour is going to be big in 2009.  One who is cynical may say they are making such predictions to fit in with what they have designed, but it could be that they are designing for the weddings we are seeing more and more of, which is weddings that are productions of a Hollywood scale rather than events, so why not go all out and have your red carpet moment worthy of the stars.  This dress named ‘All That Jazz’ is from the Topaz collection from Alan Hannah, and features the elegant, sophisticated cut the brand is renowned for.  Strapless gowns have an instant glamour effect and allow you to accessorise with a statement necklace of pearls or diamonds, and the ruched detail on this dress means you don’t need to be stick thin to wear it as it helps to cover up any lumps and bumps!  The Sancerre gown from Ian Stuart is another example of a gown fit for the red carpet with its strapless, mermaid shape in taffeta and antique lace.
