Heavenly Bodies Bridal in London only stocks wedding dresses in size 16-34 to allow brides the opportunity to try on as many designs and styles as possible. If you look at their testimonial page you will find countless letters from brides who had either shopped elsewhere and felt intimidated or were quite nervous of looking for their dress for fear of not finding anything and the attitude they would receive from assistants. It seems Patricia and her team are dedicated to making the the whole process of finding and trying on wedding dresses for plus size brides both positive and enjoyable. They are based in South East London and you do need to make an appointment as this is how you are guaranteed privacy with a one to one consultation. The store also featured in the wedding episode of The Apprentice, with Claire picking one of the dresses to show, you can’t get a better endorsement than that!

Lovely dress by pronovious but awful customer service . Owner is all about the money and as a bride I was left unhappy with an item that didn’t fit and was made to feel bad when I wanted my money back. No options were given to me for adjusting it again I was just told to pin it. In the end the owner took my money for the dress and the other item which I paid £70 for a bolero didn’t fit and wasn’t refunded and instead I had the phone put down on me. I would avoid at all costs and find a shop where they care and don’t let you leave the shop until you are 100 percent happy. The most awful customer relations I have ever experienced in my life
