Short Retro 60′s Wedding dress from Monsoon

Retro Wedding Dress

If you want to follow the trend for a short wedding dress, but want something funky and a bit retro rather than the pretty prom style, then this Maddison Shift Wedding Dress from Monsoon for £250 is perfect. It has all over scalloped embroidery with faux pearl detailing and the back is cut away into a large V shape. The boat neck and shift style is reminiscent of Jackie Onasis 1960′s style and would be perfect teamed with a neat shoulder length veil and small bouquet or you could go for a large brim hat with long stem calla lilies for more of a Bianca Jagger style.

If you’re inspired by this 60′s style, have a look at this long sleeve embellished dress picked up by Enfashion. http://www.enfashion.co.uk/2008/08/60s-style-embellished-shift-dress-from-french-connection/
