Romantic, Empire Wedding Dress with Jane Austen appeal
By Lisa on Apr 22, 2008 with Comments 6
For a collection of the most romantic wedding gowns to marry your Mr Darcy, visit Sarah Houston’s website. Her range of couture gowns for 2008 is inspired by whimsical, flowing fabric and delicate detailing. The empire line used in many of her gowns is flattering to most shapes and sizes and always evokes a very romantic feel to the gown. The gown pictured is fitted at the bust and then falls out in many different layers of silk chiffon to a chapel train, the silk organza puff sleeves finish of this dress perfectly. Sarah Houston also does a very comprehensive range of maternity gowns and many of the couture gowns can be adapted for the pregnant bride.

Dear Paige, please click on the link to the suppliers website to request information from them, as we don’t supply anything but source items of interest. Good luck.
Are there any other designers/websites I could find more empire line wedding dresses like these?
Courtney, if you click on the Bridal Dresses section at the top of the page you will be able to view all the dresses we have featured. Most designers will have an empire line dress in their portfolio, Pronovias have a really good range of dresses though. For a high street bargain Monsoon have a range of dresses with an empire line and Marks & Spencer are also supposed to be re-introducing their bridal range which also used to have empire line dresses. Good luck.
